About This Site

natland.org.uk is a village history and war memorial site for Natland, a small village near Kendal in Cumbria.

The War Memorial Project

The heart of this site is the war memorial section, which presents the research of John Chandler into the men from Natland who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars. John is a long-term Natland resident who has spent many years researching and documenting each individual's story.
